PAWEŁ PIEC BAND

Zespół wykonuje kompozycje lidera, napisane na przestrzeni ostatnich kilkunastu lat. Wybrzmiewa muzyka ilustracyjna, jazz- rockowe uderzenie oraz medytacyjne ciepłe piecowe klimaty.

Paweł Piec jest saksofonistą, pedagogiem, twórcą muzyki do spektakli i reklam. Dyrygował Krakowską Orkiestrą Ad Libitum oraz Piec ARToFFoN Orkiestra. Jest barytonistą w kwartecie saksofonowym SAKSOHOLICY, a także członkiem Stowarzyszenia Muzycznego Śląski Jazz Club.

Muzycy stanowią mieszankę silnych osobowości artystycznych, inspirujących się jazzem, etno, z wykształceniem zdobytym na Akademii w Krakowie, Katowicach i Wrocławiu. Pewnego razu we Lwowie muzyczne drogi skrzyżowały się owocując wspaniałą muzyczną historią, która jest malowana dzwiękami na koncertach grupy Paweł Piec Band.

Performance will feature compositions of the band
leader written in the last several years and will be a melting pot of
background music, jazz-rock blast and excursions into the sounds that fuse
into warm and meditative atmosphere.

Paweł Piec is a saxophonist, teacher, and a composer of music for theatre
and commercials. He has conducted Cracow Orchestra Ad Libitum and Piec ARToFFoN Orchestra. He plays the baritone saxophone in the SAKSOHOLICY quartet and he is a member of the Musical Association Silesian Jazz
Club.

Paweł Piec Band is a blend of strong artistic personalities, inspired
by jazz and ethno music. They graduated at the Academies of Music in
Krakow, Katowice and Wroclaw. Their musical paths crossed for the first
time in Lviv, which is reflected in one of the compositions that will be
performed at the concert.
